Nylon Carbon Fiber (PA-CF) Filament is a high-performance engineering material that combines the toughness and durability of Nylon with the added strength and rigidity of carbon fiber reinforcement. Designed for demanding applications, it delivers exceptional mechanical performance, excellent dimensional stability, and a superior strength-to-weight ratio, making it ideal for functional prototypes and end-use parts.
This filament offers outstanding wear resistance, reduced warping compared to standard Nylon, and excellent resistance to heat, oils, fuels, and many common chemicals. It prints at a recommended nozzle temperature of 250–290°C with a heated bed temperature of 70–100°C. A hardened steel or ruby nozzle is recommended due to the abrasive nature of carbon fibers. Available in 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm diameters, Nylon Carbon Fiber produces lightweight parts with a premium matte finish and excellent surface quality.
Nylon Carbon Fiber filament is ideal for manufacturing automotive components, aerospace parts, drone frames, robotic systems, industrial tooling, jigs, fixtures, gears, brackets, and other structural or mechanical components where high strength, stiffness, and precision are essential. To achieve the best print quality and mechanical properties, store the filament in a sealed container with desiccant and dry it thoroughly before printing to prevent moisture-related defects.
